Chessboard Creative
Chessboard Creative came to me with a black and white logo and a very clear theme they wanted translated into a clean, modern design that would promote their stage productions and other arts initiatives to the upmost.
Chessboard Creative also wanted to create a way for artists and performers share events and network. To create this community component, I integrated Buddypress with Wordpress to allow members to create detailed profiles and keep track of one another.
All content and images can be updated, and the community may be managed by the leaders of Chessboard Creative.

Amish Burlesque
Amish Burlesque is a comedy stage show, and they wanted a website that understood and told the world what the show was all about.
Using a fun collage theme, and drawing from old Vaudville poster design, we created a fun and easy to browse website that helps both audience members and theaters interested in booking them for a show.
The website is Wordpress based and all images, text, and video may be updated by the Amish Burlesque producers. A custom Event setup allows them to add events, which are automatically displayed in order, as they are scheduled.

LakeFront Films
LakeFront Films wanted a sophisticated site that showed off their reel to its best advantage and made it extremely easy for them to be contacted.
While everything you need to know is on their home page, quick previews of their blog entries make it easy to learn more in depth information about their process.
This site is based on Wordpress, so they can update all their content, images, and video on their own.

Advanced Educational Consulting
Kimberly Jackson of Advanced Educational Consulting was looking for a basic, clear website that got to the point and looked good doing it. Her goals were to give her audience confidence in her services and create a welcoming feel.
We created a simple, no frills site that made the most of her content, and struck a balance between business like and fun so that it appeals to both parents and teens.

Summer Lynn Designs
A long-time, favorite client of mine, Summer Allen asked for a redesign that included a powerful e-Commerce solution for her jewelry designs. An artist as well, Summer wanted the design to incorporate a hand-made, collage feel that included some of her sketches and paintings.
To handle orders and sales, we chose Magento, an open source e-commerce platform that can scale and grow with Summer and her business. She can add her own products, edit all information, and more with this powerful solution. We even included an approved account only Wholesale section, so she could cater more easily to those clients.
